It is a rare opportunity that the Invasion of the Remake hosts get to talk about an Oscar Award winning film and they do just that with Martin Scorsese's The Departed (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Ray Winstone, & Alec Baldwin) which is a remake of the Chinese film Infernal Affairs by Andrew Lau (starring Andy Lau, Tony Chiu Wai Leaung, Eric Tsang, Anthony Chau-Sang Wong, Kelly Chen, and Sammi Cheng). It's a battle in the streets on this weeks I.O.T.R.

Comedian Tony Binns joins the Invasion of the Remake to talk about the sword & sandals, Don Coscarelli fantasy classic, Beastmaster (1982) starring Marc Singer, Tanya Roberts, Rip Torn, and John Amos. Suicide monks, quicksand, butterface witches, flying swamp things, black tigers, and ferrets. How can we possibly make this a better movie? We certainly try to improve on this fantasy epic on this weeks episode.
