They are in your theaters, your neighbors homes, and even your own. They have come to destroy your childhood and ruin your future. Only one podcast can protect you from the Invasion of the Remake!

Oct 30, 2018
This week we bring you all the horror with the cult classic horror C.H.U.D. (1984). These cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers have a taste for human flesh and are coming for you from the sewers of New York city. C.H.U.D. is a horror, comedy, commentary on the homeless and irresponsible toxic waste dumping in the 80's; can we rethink and remake it? Invasion of the Remake is once again invaded by other podcasts in remaking C.H.U.D. as part of #AllTheHorror month. Joining us this week are What Does It Matter, Brook Reading, Movie Geek & Proud, and Loosely Based on Movies. Listen to us and some of the best personalities in podcasting as we open the manholes to find us some C.H.U.D.s.

An experimental ship, The Event Horizon (1997), that had disappeared in the year 2040 suddenly reappears seven years later. The rescue ship Louis & Clark is sent to investigate, recover the ship, and rescue any surviving crew. They discover that the crew is dead and the horrors of hell itself have been unleashed on The Event Horizon.
This week Invasion of the Remake has additional crew aboard to help us in remaking Event Horizon. Joining us aboard the Invasion mothership are Nick from Epic Film Guys, Stork & Peacock from Besotted Geek, Tony from Flicks XRayed, and Frank & Derrick from Work/Life Imbalance. With their help and expertise we explore the terrors of deep space and delve into the secrets of the Event Horizon.

#AllTheHorror month continues with the spawn of Satan himself, Damien, the antichrist. The Omen (1976, 2006) warns of the child born with the 666 birthmark that will take all that is yours. Stand in his way and death from unseen forces is certain. Is it a story about supernatural forces or is it a story of mental breakdown and a family in crisis? The Omen is a horror classic and this week we put these two films next to each other to find out which Damien is the more chilling child. It's a battle of creepy kids on this weeks Invasion of the Remake!
