Invasion of the Remake is off to the races this week as we talk about Roger Corman's classic grindhouse movie Death Race 2000 (1975) starring David Carradine & Sylvester Stallone. Corman's deadly blood sport would be remade as Death Race (2008) by director Paul W.S. Anderson, starring Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Tyrese Gibson and Ian McShane. Join us on the open road where pedestrians are worth points and everyone is fair game in the wildest race ever created, Death Race!

This week we have another fan challenge to adapt the Walt Disney film Treasure Planet (2002) to live-action. Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel Treasure Island has been adapted to film many times but this science fiction version blends those beautiful ships of the high seas with aliens and technology not thought of in Stevenson's time. Join us as we travel the galaxy to discover lost fortunes and remake Treasure Planet!
